Why this is different

Relatable is an ongoing immersion into the ideas, insights, and conversations that help us create healthier relationships and more intentional lives. Through teaching, coaching, thought work, and live Q&A, we'll explore topics such as identity, purpose, communication, emotional wellbeing, relationship dynamics, personal growth, and the practical skills that help us navigate life with greater confidence and clarity. Together, we'll examine what works, what doesn't, and how small shifts in perspective can create meaningful change.

One of the greatest benefits of group coaching is realizing you're not alone. There is something powerful about learning alongside other women who share similar challenges, questions, and aspirations. In addition to receiving coaching and support, you'll gain the encouragement, perspective, and connection that come from being part of a community. And because the investment is shared among the group, you'll have access to ongoing coaching at a fraction of the cost of private sessions.

Relatable is for women who want more from their relationships and their lives. Whether you're looking to deepen the connection in your marriage, improve communication, strengthen your sense of self, or navigate a new season with greater intention, this community is designed to support your growth. If you're no longer interested in settling for "good enough" and are ready to explore what's truly possible, you'll feel right at home here.

Relatable

Where meaningful conversations become catalysts for change.

Who is Lisa?

I am a marriage and relationship coach devoted to helping women create deeper connection, greater emotional confidence, and more fulfilling relationships through both private coaching and my group coaching community, Relatable. Women who work with me learn how to reimagine what's possible, revive emotional connection, and reignite the passion and partnership they desire in their relationships.

My approach is informed by 40 years of marriage, raising two confident and emotionally healthy children, formal training in psychology and coaching, and more than 20 years of practicing and teaching yoga. These experiences have taught me that healthy relationships are built not only on love, but also on self-awareness, communication, emotional resilience, and intentional growth.

Clients often tell me they feel safe, seen, and understood in our work together. My goal is to help you master the art of being together, creating relationships that are connected, authentic, and deeply satisfying for years to come.

What some people say

Lisa is warm and caring and instantly puts you at ease. She encourages you and will challenge you in the most loving way if needed. With Lisa you will feel like you've just had coffee with your best friend.  Catherine Pierce

Coaching with Lisa has been one of the best experiences and opportunities I’ve had to work on myself. She has helped me gain insight and made more progress using her services than I ever did working with a therapist. She has been a mentor and friend and always ready to start our sessions with encouragement and leads with kindness. I would recommend her coaching to anyone needing results in reaching their life goals. Cathy Z

As a boomer, for the first time in my life, I found myself entering retirement during COVID and not having a plan for what happens next…and then I found Lisa.

During our time together she provided support, affirmation and validation for the work that I put in during a 30 plus year career that I loved. We just don’t get that from the world.

I am excited and empowered to enter the next chapter with Lisa’s support, wisdom and encouragement through navigating a very changed world. I am also in the sandwich generation, supporting elderly loved ones in a complicated healthcare system and supporting my children as they are working and having children of their own.

Lisa asked the right questions and facilitated a connection that allowed me to see obstacles, clearing the path for me to move forward in my life. Thank you Lisa, you are a blessing! Randie Hersey

I’ve known Lisa for over fifteen years. She exemplifies many qualities I admire, such as intelligence, loyalty, generosity, compassion, steadfastness and curiosity. I believe these qualities are also what leads her to continue to grow personally and professionally. I’m excited for her to be in the coaching landscape. As a coach, Lisa’s desire to help others, and the virtues she holds dear, makes her a dedicated and collaborative coach.  Paulette Bodeman

I enjoyed every coaching session with you. You are an encouraging soul and your patient nature really helped me to think forward and plan realistic action steps. You challenged me and helped me to come up with action steps that I hadn’t previously thought of or had the courage to try. I know that anyone considering working with a life coach would benefit from working with you!  Kelly Ockeloen

Working with Lisa has been such a gift.  She’s incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely loving in her coaching. From the moment we started, I felt completely at home with her.

I began working with Lisa during a stressful and emotional time in my life when I was trying to release what no longer served me. There were ups and downs, tears, and a lot of self-reflection but she was always a safe space to come back to, and I truly looked forward to our sessions.

I’m also in the process of building my own business, and Lisa has been such a vital part of helping me stay grounded, keep going, and not give up on myself.

I’d highly recommend Lisa to anyone ready to make real change in their life. She holds space for your growth, your healing, and your vision for the future. Change doesn’t happen until we choose it and hiring Lisa was one of the best choices I’ve made. I’m so grateful for her guidance and heart.  Nicole Allison

Lisa’s book helps me to really think about who I am and who am I being. She prompts me to notice my thoughts and feelings and to ask myself, What is this feeling trying to tell me?  Lisa gives ideas for how to deal with reactionary behavior…how to pause, step away and diffuse the situation. If I get annoyed about something my partner says or does I have found that I am getting better at reflecting on who I am being and re-thinking my reactions. I learn from Lisa to take note of my thoughts about my spouse and ask myself if those
thoughts are helping or hurting my relationship. Thoughts are powerful and lead to actions.

Lisa prompts me to choose more loving thoughts.  She encourages us to really get to know ourselves and who we are - our strengths, weaknesses, boundaries, where we need to grow and she gives resources and ideas on ways to get there. If I compared her book to others about self- actualization I would say she gives a reader many different big picture roadmaps to becoming a more loving human. Lisa words things in a very condensed, optimistic way. You can read her book in no time at all but if you want to dig deeper into any topic she gives you tips on taking it a step further..
